Maintenance and cleaning

Lasting pleasure with your Hansgrohe products

With Hansgrohe showers and mixers you have purchased high-quality products: we want you to be able to enjoy the design and the high level of functionality for a very long time! We help you to guarantee this with our maintenance tips and cleaning recommendations.

Please note the following:

Not only can robust cleaning methods and aggressive cleaning agents damage surfaces, they can also affect the inner workings of the product.

  • Don't make mistakes when combating limescale and dirt: if inappropriate handling leads to damage, this is excluded from the warranty.
  • Never spray cleaning agents directly onto mixers or showers.
  • Instead, spray cleaning agents onto a soft cloth and use this to wipe the surface.
  • Thoroughly rinse mixers and showers after cleaning with clean water.
  • Do not use any cleaning agents containing hydrochloric acid, formic acid, chlorine bleach or acetic acid, as these can cause significant damage.
