People who own an iPhone can now enjoy a premier in bathroom design. The iPhone app Hansgrohe@home (www.hansgrohe.de/iphone) enables users to try the new fittings in the Hansgrohe PuraVida line in real bathrooms and see what they look like in their own washing areas. The new award-winning bathroom product range, PuraVida, combines sensuous lines and an exciting white-and-chrome surface in modern and contemporary designs. What also makes the PuraVida fittings and showers contemporary in every respect: the intiutive control and resource-saving technology. "The principle behind the Hansgrohe app is a simple one," explains Hansgrohe AG's marketing director Joachim Huber. "Take a photograph of your washstand, use your finger to remove the existing tap fitting on the touchscreen, and the app then projects the PuraVida fitting in its place." This picture montage can be saved, sent on by email or printed out. "This means the Hansgrohe app is also a useful tool for sales approaches in a bathroom showroom," he continues. Specialists can now display the PuraVida fitting virtually on any washstand in the showroom with no need for laborious reconstructions and without the use of additional display items, and email the simulation to the customer or print it out. And once the customers have been pleasently suprised by how well the white-and-chrome go with their bathroom, they will find the app contains interesting information such as details of the matching PuraVida shower programme, or be able to go directly to the PuraVida online special found on www.hansgrohe.de/puravida with lots of interactive extras and downloads.
