The passionate and poetic design and spatial concept of the new Axor Urquiola bathroom collection not only succeeds in presenting innovative products, but also creates an interaction that highlights intimacy in an environment of complete security.

Axor Urquiola creates an ambience full of lightness and flair, united by a common theme of poetry, harmony and sensuality. Urquiola and Axor have combined all these aspects with one another and allow us to experience the bathroom in a new ‘pure’ light through her very personal, feminine view.

Highlighting intimacy and encounter, different domains grow together within the Axor Urquiola concept of design and space. The sleeping area is no longer strictly separated from the bathroom – instead these two areas fuse together to yield a harmonious interplay involving sleep, body care, relaxation and regeneration; which is evident in the products as well.

The shapes of the wash basins and bathtubs are reminiscent of the washing tubs era and it is the most extensive and comprehensive bathroom collection for the Axor brand to date. The Axor Urquiola collection includes everything from fixtures, bathtubs and basins through to a radiator that can serve as a free standing room divider or heating appliance.

All the individual elements- each with its own poetic note- interact with one another, blending into a new ensemble within a room with each individual object playing its very own, leading role. This can be seen in the mixers with their expansive handles
rising from the main body as an organic element; or the free standing screen which adds character through visually partitioning the bedroom and the bathroom.

Despite the great diversity of products in the Axor Urquiola range, the designer has left enough freedom for each person to create their very own personal space.
