Room for free expression – at the Hobo Hotel Stockholm

Stockholm is spread out over fourteen islands and a bit of the mainland. Scandinavia’s largest city is the centre of Northern Europe’s creative scene. Since March 2017, this has had a new home in the Norrmalm district: the Hobo Hotel. Probably the most private places in a hotel – the bathrooms – feature quality taps and showers from hansgrohe.

Hotel has revitalised the district

The Hobo Hotel is located in the modern commercial district of Norrmalm, also known as Stockholm’s “City”. Although the hotel is very centrally located between the main train station and the popular Kungsträdgården Park, Brunkebergstorg, a street featuring 1970s architecture, had been somewhat forgotten in recent decades. The hotel, which belongs to the Nordic Hotels & Resorts group owned by Norwegian entrepreneur Petter Stordalen, has revitalised the district – together with its neighbouring sister hotel At Six. The award-winning, Berlin-based industrial designer Werner Aisslinger was responsible for the hotel's interiors.

Sophisticated bathroom design: Studio Aisslinger opted for hansgrohe

After an eventful day in Sweden's bustling capital, guests at the Hobo Hotel can freshen up under the Showerpipe Croma 220 Air 1jet. The matching hand shower with four graduated rain jets forms the perfect complement. On the wash basins, the height of the Highriser Talis Classic offers added convenience for washing hands. The hansgrohe Talis Classic tap range features a slender, cylindrical body and a bell-shaped base. The characteristic handle is easy to operate.
